CORPSE FOUND IN ARIK AIR PLANE INBOUND FROM JFK, NY
The dead body of a young Nigerian man was discovered yesterday Friday
October 26th in the wheel well, the undercarriage compartment of an
Arik Air aircraft, after it returned from a flight to New York, United
States.
One of the airline’s officials who spoke to ThisDay said the deceased
might have hidden himself in the wheel well for days and was crushed to
death while the flight was airborne to the JF Kennedy Airport, New
York, from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The official who spoke to THISDAY said the dead body was found during
a check on the aircraft panel as it was being prepared for another
flight and that the undercarriage compartment of the Airbus A340-500 is
big enough to accommodate a person, besides the space for the tyres.
“He probably might have hidden himself there some days and died while
the aircraft was on its way to New York. We found him when we were
doing checks on the panel; the aircraft probably came back with him
dead,” the official said.
The source said that it is out of ignorance that people hide in the
wheel well and plan to stowaway because “the compartment is not
pressurised like the cabin of an aircraft and it is not heated, so
survival is rare even if the person is not crushed by the wheels.”
Pilots and aeronautical engineers familiar with the wheel well
compartment said it is roomy enough to contain a human being, but it is
highly unlikely that any one who hid there would come out alive after a
flight that took several hours due to lack of oxygen.
The official attributed the incident to porous security at the
airport, noting that “if having access to the airside is stringently
prohibited, anybody that is not an official of airlines, handling
companies and Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria would not gain
access to the tarmac.”
Another source said: “The security at the airport is very bad and
that explains why somebody can gain access to the airside and inside the
aircraft and no one will know.
Security around the cargo area is even worse and from there anybody
can take anything into the tarmac. Now, it is a human being that is
smuggled in; one day a dangerous object will be smuggled in.”
THISDAY investigations revealed that stowaways connive with ground handling companies to access the airside and the wheel well.
“The handling company workers and the security operatives indulge in a
lot of illicit activities at the airport and over the years there have
been efforts to put a check on such excesses but every effort has so far
failed,” said another source.

NIGERIAN MODEL DIES AFTER FAILED BUTTOCKS ENLARGEMENT OPERATION
Claudia
A woman who called herself the ‘Black Madam’ will stand trial on
murder charges for allegedly performing illegal buttocks-enhancing
procedures on a Nigerian-born woman, Claudia Aderotimi who later died in
her Philadelphia hotel.
A judge upheld third-degree murder charges during a preliminary hearing today against Padge Windslowe, 40.
The ruling comes after a friend of the dancer testified today that she and 20-year-old Claudia Aderotimi came to Philadelphia last year and had their buttocks enlarged.
The ruling comes after a friend of the dancer testified today that she and 20-year-old Claudia Aderotimi came to Philadelphia last year and had their buttocks enlarged.
Windslowe’s defense attorney argued that both girls knew his client
was not a real doctor as they had visited her for the injections before.
Theresa Gyamfi said the ‘Black Madam’ gave them silicone injections in their hotel room — but then fled when Aderotimi went into respiratory distress.
A doctor testified that the industrial-grade, not medical grade, silicone went to Aderotimi’s blood, liver, lungs and brain.
She was rushed to a Delaware County hospital in an ambulance, but died
within hours of a pulmonary embolism, according to the doctor.
But defense lawyer Christopher Mannix said he will challenge those
medical conclusions at trial, along with allegations his client
performed the injections.
The Philadelphia Inquirer said that prosecutors told the court she
painted herself out to be a medical professional when she administered a
series of injections to the two women. This was the second time the
woman went to Windslowe, paying $1,800 to $2,300 a time to have their
butts enlarged.
Dead ‘Claudia Aderotimi’ believed a ‘bigger booty’ would help her to
appear in more music videos, according to her distraught friends..

DIDDY IN CAR ACCIDENT
Diddy was left lying injured on the ground on Wednesday after his SUV was crashed in a dramatic car accident.
Pictures show the rapper, real name Sean Combs, slumped on the floor as he recovered after his chauffeur-driven Cadillac Escalade collided with a Lexus RX vehicle. Diddy’s luxury vehicle was left crushed and undriveable, and had to be towed away after the smash at the Beverly Hills hotel in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The windscreen was smashed and the front of the car caved in. The airbags were activated and parts of the vehicle littered the ground. The 42-year-old was so shaken by the crash that he was seen lying down on the grass beside his vehicle.
He was accompanied by record label boss Andre Hurrell, who helped him to his feet. A second passenger was also seen sprawled on the lawn beside the music mogul.
Despite complaining of unspecified pain Diddy refused to go in an
ambulance, and told authorities he would ‘seek his own medical
attention,’ according to police.
The driver of the Lexus received unspecified injuries and was taken to a hospital. It is believed that employees of the upmarket hotel rushed to the aid of Diddy and his fellow passenger, who were then escorted through the hotel lobby.
Officers raced to the scene and took details from the passengers, including Diddy.

REVOLUTIONARY WEEKEND
Hey guys. I was away this weekend (30 Aug - 2 Sep) at a camp which my church was organizing. To be very sincere, I hated the idea initially and didn't want to go; but I was coerced as my dad was one of the organizers of the program.
In fact, when I even arrived at the venue, the physical condition greatly contrasted the comfort I was enjoying only some hours (or so) ago; which made me hate the program the more. And to make matters worse, there was a laid-down rule that we were not to use phones for the 3-day duration. ':o' was my reaction as I had convinced myself few days before that that would be my only consolation for being in attendance. Then the line-up of events even pissed me off the very more.
After I turned in my phone, I just convinced myself that I was 'stuck' there for the next 3 nights and nothing was gonna change about that. It was definitely not easy but I did anyway. I kept to myself for most of the period and only spoke to the very familiar people. It was not until Friday evening when I overheard a somewhat nasty comment that I started thinking about my life and noticed that it was in shambles. I thought I was having a carefree life but I realized that there was no fulfillment in the so-called life.
That evening was so spectacular as I could not hold back my tears and I poured out my heart to my Heavenly Father. And to back that up, we had a Spirit-filled vigil that night where we prayed seriously. And when it was time for the Holy Ghost's manifestation, I was just so arrested and asked him to come upon me afresh and He did. What joy filled my soul as I could not hold back my happy tears. And to crown it all up, I went to bed that night and had God himself speak to me through inspired scriptures. The elation I felt cannot even be explained with words.
I am forever grateful for the experience and my message for you reading this is that God is God. You might be feeling that the 'fun' you're having is the ultimate but search yourself and begin to realize that deep-down, there is a yearning for absolute completeness and that can only be found in the Father's Presence. So as I leave you to think, I trust God that He who moved me will stir up your heart to run back to him and find fulfillment and if you already are in Him, to root you the more.
